Nike bear graphic multicolor T-shirt collection review: a loose cotton cartoon tee, measured and washed
We ordered the Nike bear-graphic tee, measured a size L flat, wore it for a week and washed it twice. Pure cotton, digital cartoon prints, M–5XL, $3.88. Print durability stays the open question.

Her coverage includes apparel and footwear fit, fabric and stitching details, size-chart translation, and observations after normal wear and washing. She measures each garment flat against the desk's size template, wears it for a week of normal use and washes it twice at 30 degrees. Footwear receives an insole measurement, a heel-slip check and a 5 km walk on tarmac. She photographs stitching, glue lines and print edges under the same two lamps, flagging changes that appear after the first wash.

Hands-on score 4.2 / 5
Editor verdict
A loose pure-cotton crew tee at a very low agent price, offered across dozens of cartoon prints in black and white and sizes M to 5XL. Our sample washed clean; the graphic's long-term durability is unproven.
What works
- Pure cotton at a credible 180–250 gsm, digital print, relaxed crew cut with no hood
- Every graphic offered in both white and black, with sizes running M to 5XL
- Our size L sample came through two 30-degree washes with no print cracking
Watch-outs
- Print durability on this exact shirt is not independently documented
- Sourced notes flag possible cotton shrinkage, so measure rather than guess a letter
- The relaxed cut reads shapeless if you size up without checking the chart
Shoppers who want a cheap, breathable cotton graphic tee in a genuinely loose cut, want a choice of black or white across many cartoon prints, and are willing to size from their own measurements.
Anyone who needs documented long-term print performance before committing, or who wants a fitted, tapered silhouette rather than a loose Korean-style cut.
What we ordered and how we checked it
We ordered the Nike bear graphic multicolor T-shirt collection to our Manchester test address and logged the warehouse timings from checkout through to parcel arrival, then weighed the parcel before opening it. On the table the shirt went through the same routine as every other top on the desk: flat measurement against our size template, a week of normal wear on a 178 cm tester, two washes at 30 degrees, and print-edge photography under the same two lamps before and after the first wash.
The listing is SKU 7715851691, brand Nike, priced at $3.88 USD against a stated original of $4.39, and marked in stock when we checked. For that money the spec sheet is unusually detailed: pure cotton, digital printing, crew neck, short sleeve, no hood, regular thickness, and a declared 180–250 gsm fabric weight.

Fabric and construction
The cotton reads closer to the top of the stated weight band than the bottom. Our size L sample weighed 188 g, and the fabric held a firm drape rather than hanging limp, which is what we look for when a listing quotes 180–250 gsm and ships something obviously thinner. The collar is a ribbed crew with a single row of visible stitching at the neckline, and the shoulder and hem seams are straight with no puckering on our unit.
The listing's own function list — breathability, moisture management, crease resistance, stretch and colorfastness — is marketing copy rather than a lab result. We can support part of it. The shirt dried quickly after a workout and came out of the wash without heavy creasing. We saw nothing we would call meaningful stretch; the cotton moves as woven cotton moves.
Fit and sizing
We measured the size L flat, then compared it with the tester's body measurements rather than a guessed letter. The chest came in at roughly 54 cm flat, the body length at 70 cm, the sleeve at 21 cm and the neck opening at about 19 cm. Combined with the stated 1–3 cm sewing tolerance, that is a loose, straight-sided body — wide through the chest, not tapered through the waist, and short enough to sit at the hip rather than below it.
This is where the sourced guidance matters. A Chinese-language buying guide on Taobao's clothing channel advises choosing by your own measured data, noting that an oversized pick can look sloppy and shapeless while an undersized one loses the intended loose fit. That matches what we saw: the cut has no recovery in it, so a size up does not read as intended oversized, it reads as a different shirt. Anyone between two sizes should take the smaller one if they want the relaxed fit shown in the reference photos.
The listing targets teenagers, but the M-to-5XL spread clearly runs past that group. Our tester, 178 cm and 74 kg, was comfortable in the L.
Prints, colourways and what we look for at the edges
The option list is the real feature here. Each cartoon graphic appears in both white and black, and there are plain white and plain black options if you want the fabric without the motif. Translated from the listing, the graphics include Motorcycle Old Man, Science Old Man, Strawberry Bear, Backpack Bear, Small Hugging Bear, Broken Swoosh Astronaut, Rope-Climbing Astronaut, Cola Bottle, LION, Sesame Head, Cracked Swoosh, Small Colourful Swoosh, Lettering Big Swoosh, ESS, FRI, Nonsense, WANG Blue, CRATED and Suprome. Two of those option names look like spelling quirks rather than corrections — worth reading the picture, not the label, before you add to cart.
Because the decoration is digital print rather than embroidery, we photographed the print edges under our two lamps at delivery and again after the first wash. On our sample the motif sits flat on the cotton with a clean outer edge, no halo of unprinted fabric around it, and no cracking or lifting visible in the after-wash frames. That is one shirt, washed twice. It is not a durability verdict.
Care, washing and the shrinkage caveat
We washed twice at 30 degrees and dried flat. Length changed by about 1 cm between the first and second measurement, chest unchanged, and the print stayed sharp. That is consistent with, not proof of, the sourced warning we carried into this review: a discussion thread on r/malefashionadvice raises the point that Nike cotton tees can shrink after washing or drying, with the poster unsure how much. Assume some movement, buy for the fit you want after a wash, and treat the 1–3 cm tolerance as a real number rather than a rounding error.
What the sourced evidence does and does not cover
Buyer documentation on this specific listing is thin, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. The strongest piece of independent evidence we found concerns Nike tops in general rather than this shirt: a Trustpilot reviewer of nike.com reports a logo coming away after six months.
My lightly worn black Nike polo shirt is loosing its Nike emblem after owning it for 6 months.
That is a caution about decorated Nike apparel broadly, and it concerns an applied emblem on a polo, not a digital chest print on a cotton tee — a different construction with a different failure mode. We are not treating it as a finding about this shirt. Equally, we are not treating our clean two-wash result as proof the print will last two years. If long-term print performance is the deciding factor for you, this is an unverified purchase.
What we can state plainly: the shirt arrived as described, the cotton weight is credible, the cut is genuinely loose, the sizing runs to 5XL, and the price on the listing is very low before agent fees. Everything past that depends on the manufacturing batch you receive, and the reference photos in the option list are the best guide to which graphic you are actually buying.
How we tested
Ordered to our Manchester test address; parcel weighed on arrival. Measured a size L flat against our size template (chest, length, sleeve, neck). One week of normal wear, two 30-degree washes, print-edge photos under the same two lamps before and after.

How should I pick a size in this collection?
Measure your chest and preferred length, then match the listing chart instead of guessing a letter. Our size L measured about 54 cm across the chest and 70 cm long, with a stated 1–3 cm tolerance. The cut is loose and straight, so sizing up adds width rather than shape.
Are the cartoon graphics durable?
Not independently documented for this shirt. A Nike customer reported an applied polo emblem lifting at six months, which is a different decoration type. Our sample showed clean print edges and no cracking after two 30-degree washes — encouraging, but only one shirt and two washes.
Do the printing colours match the option names?
Read the reference photos rather than the labels. The option list includes quirks such as Suprome and CRATED, and each graphic ships in both white and black, alongside plain white and plain black versions. The pictures are the reliable guide to the motif you receive.
