Rhude Trendy T-Shirts with Various Printed Designs Review: 240g Cotton, Tested

We ordered and tested the Rhude printed tee: 240g pure cotton, crew neck, relaxed boxy cut in S–XXL. The print survived two 30-degree washes, but the sizing runs generous.

Priya Raghavan is the site's Reviews Editor, maintaining its fit table and writing the size-conversion guides readers consult before ordering. Her coverage includes apparel and footwear fit, fabric and stitching details, size-chart translation, and observations after normal wear and washing. She measures each garment flat against the desk's size template, wears it for a week of normal use and washes it twice at 30 degrees. Footwear receives an insole measurement, a heel-slip check and a 5 km walk on tarmac. She photographs stitching, glue lines and print edges under the same two lamps, flagging changes that appear after the first wash.

Rhude Trendy T-Shirts with Various Printed Designs Review: 240g Cotton, Tested

Hands-on score 4.2 / 5

Editor verdict

A 240g pure-cotton printed tee in a relaxed, boxy cut across S–XXL. Our tested unit held its print and neck rib through a week of wear and two 30-degree washes. The cut is generous, so compare the chart first.

What works

  • Pure cotton at a listed 240g, breathable and opaque in wear
  • Print edges and neck ribbing unchanged after two 30-degree washes
  • Tidy crew-neck construction at a $8.36 USD price

Watch-outs

  • Relaxed, boxy cut is likely to need sizing down for a neater line
  • Brand-level reviews question Rhude value and cite poor customer service
  • No independent checks cover this specific listing or batch

Buyers who want a mid-to-heavyweight cotton tee with a centred chest graphic in a deliberately loose, boxy silhouette, and who will check the size chart against a tee that already fits.

Anyone wanting a trim, true-to-size fit, or independent confirmation that this listing behaves like Rhude retail before buying.

What we ordered and how we tested it

The listing is Rhude Trendy T-Shirts with Various Printed Designs (SKU 7715759263), a pullover short-sleeve tee in pure cotton listed at 240g, priced at $8.36 USD against a $9.85 reference, and marked in stock. Our testing team ordered it to the Manchester desk, photographed the parcel on arrival and logged the warehouse QC turnaround on the same sheet we use for every scored item.

On the table we measured the chest, body length and shoulder laid flat against our size template, checked the neck rib and hem stitching, and photographed the print edges under the same two lamps we use for every garment. Priya then wore it for one week of normal use — commuting, two evenings out, one day under a jacket — and washed it twice at 30 degrees. One note on the data: the catalog weight field reads 0.00, so we fell back on our own scale rather than the listing.

Fabric and build: what a listed 240g actually feels like

The catalog specifies pure cotton, 240g, breathable function and no special finishing craft. In hand, that description reads honestly. This is a mid-to-heavyweight jersey rather than the papery 150g cotton that shows up at this price band: the body has enough mass to hang straight off the shoulder without clinging, and it stays opaque under a phone flash.

Construction is plain but tidy. The crew neck is ribbed and holds its shape, the shoulder seams sit flat with no puckering, and the hem is a simple double-stitched turn. There is no hood, no dropped shoulder, no hidden detailing — the entire visual argument is the chest print, which is exactly what the listing promises.

Print, colourways and branding

The print detail is described as advertising-logo and geometric themes, and the graphic sits centred on the chest. We checked the print edges against the fabric grain and found clean transfers with no haloing or misregistration, and no ink bleed into the surrounding cotton. Three colourways are listed: black, white and apricot (beige in the compiled notes).

The white colourway is the one to think about. Light cotton at this weight shows marks faster, and the same garment that looks substantial in black reads thinner in white under indoor light. If you are choosing blind, black and apricot are the safer picks.

Fit and sizing: the one decision that matters

The listing describes a loose fit in S through XXL and does not publish a full measurement chart in the source data we hold. That matters, because the sizing evidence we have points in two directions.

  • Several buyers of Rhude tops describe a relaxed, boxy cut that runs large next to slim fits, and suggest sizing down. That evidence comes from a buyer sizing discussion, not from this listing.
  • Retail listings for comparable Rhude tees describe the same signature boxy cut but advise taking your normal size.

Both can be true: boxy cut plus true-to-size can still feel oversized on a body used to a trim fit. Our tested tee sat generous through the body and hip with a normal lift at the shoulder, and Priya, who normally takes a medium, was comfortable in a medium worn loose and would have taken a small for a neater line. Compare the chart against a tee you already own before you commit — do not assume from letter size alone.

After one week and two washes

Two 30-degree washes is not a lifespan test, but it is where cheap printed cotton usually reveals itself. Ours came out of both cycles with the print edges unchanged — no lifting, no crazing, no colour shift against the black body. Neck ribbing stayed flat. The cotton softened slightly, which we count as a positive, and there was no measurable shrinking beyond what we would expect from an untreated cotton jersey.

What public reviews say — and what they do not say

The evidence base for this brand is about Rhude at retail, not about this listing, and the distinction matters. Tear-down style reviewers question whether Rhude tees justify their retail price even while calling the fabric and construction durable. Sizing chatter from buyers describes the same relaxed, boxy silhouette we found. Retailer listings for comparable Rhude tees note a boxy fit designed to be taken in your usual size.

"$380 for a plain black tee from Rhude. Let's see what I think it costs to make and if I think it's worth it. Side note: Worst customer service" — Instagram review of a Rhude retail tee

Nothing in that evidence addresses this seller, this batch or this 240g cotton version. Treat the brand-level commentary as context for the silhouette and the price conversation, not as a verdict on the tee that arrives.

What we would check before ordering

Ask the agent for the flat chest and body-length measurements in your chosen size, plus a photo of the neck rib and print placement on the actual unit, since colourways can differ in print scale. The style is listed as suitable across all four seasons, and at 240g it genuinely works as a spring and autumn layer under a jacket as well as a summer tee. Pair it with denim or shorts and keep the graphic visible.

How we tested

We measured the tee laid flat against our size template, checked neck rib, shoulder seams and print edges under our two studio lamps, then wore it for one week and washed it twice at 30 degrees. Print and ribbing showed no change after both washes.

Sources and notes

How heavy does a listed 240g cotton tee feel in summer?

Substantial rather than airy. Our tested unit stayed breathable on warm days and worked as a single layer, but it is a mid-to-heavyweight jersey, not a thin summer tee. It also layers cleanly under a jacket in spring and autumn.

Will the chest print survive machine washing?

On our unit, yes. Print edges showed no lifting, crazing or colour shift after two washes at 30 degrees, and the neck rib stayed flat. Wash cold and inside out to reduce stress on the transfer.

Is this the same tee Rhude sells at retail?

We cannot confirm that, and no verified evidence covers this listing. The brand-level reviews in our sources discuss Rhude retail tees only. Judge the tee that arrives on its own measurements, fabric and print.

Fabric and print are fine, no complaints there. But the neckline is wider than I expected and it sits a little awkward on my frame (5'4"). Maybe better for taller people. Got the crew neck in white, print is clean though.

Good weight on this tee, you can feel it on the shoulders. Sizing runs big for sure, a small fits like a regular medium on me. Wish they had a size chart with actual measurements but the article's note about generous sizing saved me from ordering wrong.

I was skeptical about the print quality since these hype prints usually fade fast. Washed twice at 30 degrees like the review said and it's still sharp. Ordered an L for an oversized look and it drapes nice over jeans. Will probably grab the grey design next.

got mine in about 12 days, no box damage. the cotton is legit thick, definitely not that thin see through stuff. only reason im giving 4 stars is the collar stretched a tiny bit after I hung it wet like an idiot. my fault honestly. boxy fit is exactly what the pics show.

Copped the black one with the white gothic logo print. Fabric is no joke — 240g feels way heavier than the usual blanks. I'm 5'10", 175lbs and the medium is still roomy, so yeah, size down if you want it fitted. Print hasn't cracked after three washes inside out, cold water.
